Established in 2007, Hong Kong Star Foodstuff Trading L.L.C (HKS) is located in Dubai Central Fruit & Vegetable Market, the biggest foodstuff trading market in Middle East.
HKS has become one of the leading wholesalers, distributors, importers and exporters of fresh vegetables, fruits, frozen meat and seafood in U.A.E.
Business scope includes cold-chain logistics, warehousing, distribution to hotels, restaurants, big companies and military departments, and trade finance cooperation.
Each year, HKS trades more than 40,000 metric tons of fresh vegetables and fruits, over 50% of which are from China. HKS has become a trading center of Chinese agricultural products in Dubai.
HKS also sales annually about 5,000 metric tons of frozen meat (beef, lamb and chicken), and 5,000 metric tons of seafood.
Annual total sale exceeds AED 300 million.
With a total built up area of 50,000 square meters and a total storage volume of 150,000 cubic meters, it’s the biggest cold store building in Middle East. The building consists of 4 floors, total 56 cold store rooms, each cold store room contains an area of about 500 square meters. Each floor is connected vertically through 6 industrial lifts (6m x 5m). The building has a total of 32 loading & unloading platforms and a large space of parking (over 8,000 square meters).
Equipped with the latest German cooling devices based on international high standard, HKS cold stores can keep various food products in good order and freshness under the best hygienic conditions and temperatures for a longer period.
